Wegens groei van onze organisatie heeft Rijk Zwaan een vacature voor een Export Manager, die de commerciële verantwoordelijkheid draagt voor een aantal regio's in de wereld. Dit betreft de regio Middle East – North Africa, in de toekomst wordt de verantwoordelijkheid voor het aantal regio’s mogelijk uitgebreid.
Commercieel beleid
In deze internationale functie geef je direct leiding en sturing aan onze groeiende organisatie in het Midden Oosten en Noord-Afrika. Je stuurt de dochterondernemingen en area managers in deze gebieden aan op onder meer strategie, planning, verkoop, investeringen en personeel. In nauwe afstemming met de directie ontwikkel en implementeer je het commerciële beleid. Je onderhoudt en intensiveert het contact met klanten en relaties in de markt. In samenwerking met de veredeling zorg je voor voldoende productontwikkeling. In de toekomst wordt de gebiedsverantwoordelijkheid mogelijk uitgebreid met meer regio’s.
Doortastende persoonlijkheid
Je hebt een afgeronde HBO of WO-opleiding en duidelijke affiniteit met en/of werkervaring in de agrarische sector. Je hebt minimaal 10 jaar relevante werkervaring in een internationale omgeving. Wij zoeken voor deze functie een energieke en ondernemende commerciële manager. Je neemt initiatieven, bent vindingrijk en ambitieus. Goede sociale vaardigheden en het vermogen om contacten en relaties op te bouwen in verschillende culturen zijn in deze baan onmisbaar. Je bent bereid veelvuldig te reizen en je hebt een goede beheersing van de moderne talen.

Export Manager
Due to growth of our organisation, Rijk Zwaan has a vacancy for an Export Manager who will have commercial responsibility for a number of regions around the world. This concerns the region Middle East – North Africa, possibly there will be an extension of responsibilities for more regions in the future.
Commercial policy
Filling this international function your remit is the direct management and steering of our growing organisation in the Middle East and North Africa. You will guide our subsidiaries and area managers in these areas in, among other things, strategy, planning, sales, investments and personnel. In close harmonisation with the Management you develop and implement commercial policy. You maintain and intensify the contact with customers and business relations in the marketplace. In collaboration with the breeding department you make sure that there is sufficient product development. In the future your responsibility could be extended with more regions.
Decisive personality
You have completed a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree and have a strong affinity with and/or work experience in agriculture. You have at least 10 years’ relevant work experience in an international environment. For this function we are looking for an energetic, enterprising, commercial manager. You are an initiative-taker, resourceful and ambitious. Good social skills and the ability to establish and develop contacts and relations in diverse cultures are indispensable for this function. You are willing to travel extensively and you have a good command of the modern languages.
